“Cuauhltli Atoatzin” (Eagle That Speaks), is Chief Spiritual Elder of the Choctaw Muskogee Yamassee Nation. A UCLA graduate and lifelong social worker, public servant, labor advocate, and community organizer, he has devoted more than 40 years to advancing justice, equity, healing, and service. Chief Ramos serves on the boards of One Global Family Foundation & Alliances and the Unity and Diversity World Council. Guided by Indigenous teachings and ceremony, his heart-centered work honors the Sacred Feminine and promotes unity, environmental stewardship, and peace for all people and our living planet.
ELDER RUBEN SAUFKIE
Ruben Saufkie is a Hopi silversmith and fine-art jewelry maker whose life and work reflect a deep commitment to cultural preservation, respect, balance, and connection. Through his handcrafted jewelry, he shares the symbolism and spiritual values of Hopi culture. As an advisor to the Deer Woman Monument Project, Ruben offers valued cultural insight and guidance in support of its mission to honor Indigenous women, raise awareness, and inspire healing.
